What we offer
We offer skippered charter and sailing holidays for groups, couples, individuals and families of all experience levels as well as special interest options – wildlife, photography, hill walking. We are based at Dunstaffnage Marina where there is secure parking. We are a short distance by taxi from transport links in Oban.
Our 7 day skippered charters run from Saturday to the following Saturday. You are welcome aboard from 3pm on the start day, disembarking by 1000 on the following Saturday. Please go to our booking page to check availability and make a booking. Consecutive weeks can be booked by arrangement for longer range adventures. Our sailing holidays are fully catered. We have a flexible meal plan for the week and all onboard participate in cooking and housekeeping. For a luxury experience we have the option of inviting a guest chef or hostess on board for your holiday – please contact us for details.
ISLAND HOPPING FOR ALL
A holiday aboard Big Blue is the perfect way to experience the best the Scottish Islands have to offer. With an experienced skipper and an exceptionally safe and comfortable yacht join us and sail to the perfect anchorages, sandy beaches and mountainous sea lochs of the west coast and Hebrides. Along the way you`ll experience being part of the crew of a fantastic sailing boat. A 7 day holiday could take you to the west coast of Mull visiting Iona, Staffa and Tiree or north to the Small Isles of Canna, Rhum, Eigg and Muck or the spectacular mountains and cliffs of Skye. Working with the weather and tide the west coast of Scotland offers many options. Our sailing holidays are suitable for all experience levels. FOR MORE EXPERIENCED SAILORS
Our Atlantic seaboard offers some of the best sailing waters in the world. Sail with our experienced skipper for passages to the Outer Hebrides or off-shore to St Kilda, or south to Rathlin Island and the Irish coast. Booking for consecutive weeks opens up options for the Orkney and Shetland Isles or Ireland. Feel free to get in touch with your objectives and our skipper will work with you to make a plan whether that is visiting new sailing waters, or developing your sailing experience including passage making and seamanship skills.
WILDLIFE AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Join Big Blue and combine a sailing experience with opportunities for observing the wildlife of our Atlantic seaboard. Visit our iconic seabird communities including Staffa, the Treshnish Isles and Shiant Isles. Explore the rocky coastline from sheltered anchorages and spot seals, let otters reveal themselves or spot the unmissable silhouette of a sea eagle. At sea look out for the ever playful dolphins and the always welcome sighting of whales.

SAIL AND WALK
Sailing is the perfect way to reach some of Scotlands finest coastal and hill walking. A 7 day cruise can include the iconic mountain ranges of Knoydart and the Cuillins, or access the hills of Rhum or Jura.
